Scarves are a super accessible project for beginners. There’s no sewing involved and all you need are a pair of super chunky needles, knowledge of basic knit stitch and you’re off!

Our best selling simple tassel scarf is a fantastic option for a hand knit Christmas gift. It’s a project that will take you a few evenings on the sofa, but what better reason to stay in and knit when the nights are dark and all you want to do is dive into a pile of blankets and curl up with a hot drink for some craft time.

Both the Willow Tassel Scarf and Giant Blanket Scarf are whipped up using basic knit stitch making these great projects for those just getting started on their knitting journey.

The Jessica Cowl does require a little bit of simple sewing, but is less of an investment in time than a big, chunky scarf so you can keep your loved ones cosy in extra quick time. You could have one knit up over a weekend; why not pair it with a pair of chunky mitts for a super cosy hand knit set?
