Elliott Beanie: Children's Hat Knitting Pattern

This basic bobble hat design means your little one can now match you! Not only are they super speedy to make, their small size also makes them twice as cute; you’ll want to knit one for every tiny person you know!

Children’s Hat Knitting Pattern

Knitting is now officially down with the kid’s with this children’s hat knitting pattern. The popular Elliott Beanie has been adapted for a series of children’s head sizes meaning you and your little ones can now match in style! Designed to have a relaxed slouchy fit to keep heads feeling super snug and ultra cosy, this is also an ideal pattern for competent beginner knitters who’d like to skip the sewing with this seamless design.

This pattern is the KID’S edition of the pattern which includes instructions for a children’s hat to fit heads measuring 16/18/20 inches in circumference.

Baby – measuring 16 inches

Toddler – measuring 18 inches

Kids – measuring 20 inches

As with any sizing, it’s important to realise that these are approximate equations so it’s best practise to measure your little persons head before making to ensure you whip up the right size. For example, the toddler in the photo wears the children’s size measuring 20 inches (at both ages).

The Elliott Beanie: Kid’s Edition pattern arrives as an instantly downloadable pdf so you can start creating a collection of bobble hats for the whole family straight away.
