Mini Crochet Pot Cover Pattern

Looking for a stash buster project for some summer crafting? These mini crochet pot covers are perfect for using up scraps of cotton from your yarn stash and are so quick to make too.

This easy crochet pattern uses basic stitches for a swift and simple construction – if you know how to make a magic ring, and can half treble crochet, you’ll be hooking up mini crochet pots in no time at all.

The pattern produces a crochet cover which will cover a pot 8cm wide and 7cm tall. These are available to purchase individually here. If you don’t have a pot to line your cover and give it more structure, you can still use these as pots for mini plants, you’ll just have to make sure you take the plants out when you water them as the cosy is not watertight.

I like to pair mine with an interior pot for housing my cacti and as storage for my knitting needles and crochet hooks.

Your crochet pot cosy pattern will arrive as an instantly downloadble pdf file. All you have to do is grab your tools to get crocheting right away.

Materials required include:

  • 1x 50g balls of DK cotton – we recommend Hoooked Recycled Cotton DK, but any DK weight will do
  • A 6mm crochet hook
  • Tapestry needle

Pattern written in English using English crochet terms.
